Duties and taxes are included in what you pay us. Your parcel is sent on Delivered Duty Paid terms, so the courier should never ask you for money on the doorstep. If one does, send us the invoice and we will reimburse it.

Shipping is free on orders over £150.00. Ordering two pieces together costs the same to ship as one, so combining an order is almost always cheaper than two separate ones.
How long it takes
We buy each piece from the workshop after you order, inspect it, and photograph it packed. That takes 1 to 3 working days. Transit is then 4 to 10 days depending on where you are. You will get a DHL tracking number as soon as it leaves us.
Nepal observes public holidays that are not always obvious from abroad — Dashain and Tihar in particular can close workshops for several days in October and November. If your order falls in one of those windows we will tell you before we take it any further.
How pieces are packed
Thangkas travel rolled in a rigid tube, never folded. Singing bowls are boxed with the mallet and cushion packed separately so they cannot mark the metal. Textiles are sealed against moisture. Everything is double-boxed.
Where we ship
The United Kingdom, most of Europe, the United States, Canada, Australia, New Zealand and selected other countries. The full list appears at checkout — if your country is not there, email us and we will quote it manually.
If something goes wrong
- Tracking has not moved in 5 working days. Email us and we will open a trace with DHL.
- The parcel is declared lost. We refund you in full or, where the piece is not one of a kind, send a replacement.
- It arrives damaged. Photograph the piece and the box and email us within 14 days. See the returns policy — you will not need to send it back.
- The address was wrong. Tell us before it ships and we will correct it at no cost. Once it has shipped, a courier redirect may be chargeable.
A note on customs
Import rules change frequently, and the United States in particular has tightened low-value exemptions. We monitor this and price duty into your total rather than leaving you to discover it. If the rules change in a way that affects an order you have already placed, we absorb the difference — we will not come back to you for more money.
